My advert is from Toyota (and apparently Lexus) supporting their “Green Image.” It talks about how they are supporting the limiting of carbon emissions with their hybrid, mentions how much carbon they’ve stoped from being emitted due to their cars. They also mention a goal of zero emissions. The background is a rural, green area.

“Step right up!” Hollared the Carney, standing in front of his booth. “Everyone’s a winner here!”

A few approached and tossed the dollar bills his way. They took their rings and — without the slightest idea of the futility of it — began to play the ring tossing game. Another few suckers down. Now a million left to go. The people moved on and were coerced into other games – some possible to win, others a gip. Most people, in the end, simply settled on the cotton candy. You could never really go wrong with the cotton candy, no matter what carnival you were at.

It was so perfect, it was nearly golden in its shine. The escalators were illuminate by sodium lights, obviously, due to the distinct orange-gold colour that gave the building its shine. The complexion of the marble made it perfect. But the architectural beauty was disrupted as two men gave chase to another. All three of them looked the same, dressed the same in long, black great coats and black fedoras. The first man, being chased by the other two, made his way up the escalators, and hurried up and out onto the street. The other two caught up, and opened the doors. They both exhaled and their breath lifted toward the sky like steam.

”We’ve lost him,” said one.

“He won’t get away,” the other resonded. “The Don’s made sure of it.”

Yellow

The colour yellow is not my favourite colour. No, not at all. In fact, I’d say it’s a rather ugly colour. Yes, an ugly colour, indeed. If you want a good colour, you’ll have to look elsewhere, because you won’t find it around yellow. You’d have to look over there. Yes, over there you can find some nice colours. Red and black, for instance. Those are fine colours. Quite fine. I would much rather have them to yellow. I would take most anything else rather than have to suffer around yellow. Honestly. Green, blue, or maybe even purple! They’re all acceptable when compared to — ugh, I have to even contemplate the name — yellow.

I’ve been in a play. I’ve been in… nine? I think. And a musical, which was “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.” Let’s see… plays…. there is: Clara, Brighton Beach Memoirs, Twelfth Night, Carefree Sugarless Gum, The Lovers of Verona, Making Nice. I keep thinking that I’m missing one or two. I just can’t remember right now. Oh well, I need to finish this blog entry. Only a few more words to go, really. I can do it! I just need to add more fluff! Almost there! How about a quote?

I don’t mind my work. I work at a place called D’Angelo. Most New Englanders have probably heard of it. It’s a sandwich shop and I am a sandwich maker! I make minimum wage, which sort of sucks, and I only work about 12 hours a week, but soon I’ll be getting more hours because I’m training to become a closer. Actually, I just finished training, now that I think of it. I haven’t closed on my own yet and it seems a bit intimidating to close the store all on your own. Oh well, it’s what I’ve got to do.

Meanwhile in Europe, most people don’t realize this, but the Moors were finally expelled from Spain. That’s right! There were Arabs in Spain until 1492! And if the Battle of Tours had been lost by Charles “The Hammer” Martel, France would probably be an Islamic nation today. God, I do love my “What If’s,” they’re the best things in the world to contemplate about. Like… What if Mr. Adolf Hitler had got into Art School?

Heart. It is what we all have. It beats inside of us. It has been represented by fire fairly own. Apparently, it is what drives us to do things. I gives us the fiery passion that makes life possible. Or does it? They say we are torn between what our brain tells us is realistic and what our heart tells us just. I say, think with your heart, and your battle will be won. The heart is the reason for the great changes in the world — the American Revolution, the French Revolution, the Russian Revolution, and others. We must full comitted to what we know to be right if we are to ever accomplish anything.

Pencil

I prefer pen, actually. I used to prefer to write using a pencil, because pens can sometimes be sloppy. Okay, so I’m not really sure which one I prefer. They both have perks. You can erase with pencils. But sometimes the pages get all grafitt-y. I can’t really describe it, so bare with me for that one. Uh, anyways, with some pens the ink is simply to wattery and it makes everything unlegible. And my penmanship isn’t anything I brag about anyway, so it turns out pretty awful. I take most notes in pen now a days. Even in math, which I used to never do.
